Does anyone in South Manchester meet up?

I am fairly new to Mumsnet. Can understand for the life of me why as it's so good.

I was just wondering if there was a South Manchester mumsnet group that met up for nights out etc? I live in Levenshulme.

I haven't got any todders - an 11 and 9 year old.

How are you? I live south of Manchester. I have lived here for less than 3 years and I am finding it quite tricky to meet new mums. Unfortunately the existing meet ups for Manchester tends to be the north side which is a bit far for me. I noticed that you and another lady are looking for manchester mums so I have responded to you both in the hope that we could arrange something between ourselves. I have a daughter who is 2 years old and I work part-time 3 days a week. I am free on Fridays and Mondays. I also put a thread in the multicultural families as I am in a mixed race relationship and was looking for mums in common so to speak but there doesn't appear to be many of those either. I thought those that had responded on that thread and this one should try and get together. Alas I didn't know how to attach the link to this message so have a look in multicultural families and I hope we can arrange something. Speak soon.

Old thread but if you're still looking for meet ups, I moved to south Manchester a couple of months ago and have a daughter aged nearly 2.5. Whereabouts are you both living?
