Costamum is also out there... We email each other but I haven't spoken to her for a while.

If you have a lovely big villa with large swimming pool, I am sure lots of MNtters will be willing to come for a meet-up!!

SenoraPostrophe · 03/07/2004 17:06

hellooooo!

I live near Granada, and Costamum lives on the South Coast (I won't be more specific on her behalf just in case).

Been here 2 years (and on the Costa del Sol for 2 years before that). Where are you? when did you move? how are you finding things?

Hope I may join you next year!!!

Hi all, I live in Estepona which is between Marbella and Gibraltar. Ive been here 6 months now and generally I love it. I have off days when my language just isnt good enough and ive had to stand in 12 queues only to be told I cant pay or do the thing I want because its not the third wednesday of the month. Hahaha I exagerate! Im getting to grips with the different pace of life and unfortunately my daughter is too , shes taken to siesta like a duck to water and just wont go to bed. Well you cant have it all. look forward to chatting to you all love lucy

ha ha - I know what you mean about queueing.

Just so you know - La Caixa have cash points from which you can pay bills at any time with cash. They are great.

Wish I could have a siesta!

Hi - been unable to post properly due to a nasty browser hijacker on my computer!!! I think its cleared! I live in Malaga with DH and DS who is 3 and another DS is on the way - in September. We've been in Spain nearly 4 years and moved to Malaga last July. We often go to Gibraltar to stock up on UK foods - when I get the odd craving (quite frequently actually!) Let us know how you are doing!

Sorry to hijack this thread girlies - but if you can help in any way with my "drinking during pregnancy" thread in the media section I'd be extremely grateful! Thanks xxx

PS: it is raining here, hope the sun is shining where you are!
