shelly121, sometimes Saturdays are crap for getting responses, so don't get disheartened if there seems no one around, try bumping on a weekday.

survivour · 01/07/2004 16:44

Hi shelly121, I will be moving near you in the summer holidays, if you can hold out till then, I am in Enfield at the mo, and will be moving to feltem, not too far?????

katie37 · 01/07/2004 17:42

hi shell, I do not live near you but thought I would say hello.
I joined mumsnet last week and it is very friendly so I am sure if there are mums who live near you they will find you.

I know there is a group in Watford and in
N. London is that near you? There was someone else from ealing?

Keep asking esp. on weekdays

Hi shelly, I don't live near you but I was brought up in that area. What do you think of it and whereabouts in Hayes are you?

Do you drive? I know they have meet-ups in Surrey and that isn't far.

Hi Shelly121, I live near Harrow which isnt' too far from you and jane313 lives in Ealing. My dh used to drive through Hayes for work but has recently moved buildings near Heathrow... Do you drive?

Hi Shelley121.. I'm sure you can get a bus straight up to Harrow from Hayes (my dh had to do this a few times when the car was in for a service). It's a long way though with little ones.. Otherwise there's several 'City' meetups.. I don't know how easy it would be for you to get to KingsCross or Liverpool St.?
