I'm toying with the idea of going into Glasgow tomorrow around midday. Anyone interested in a quick coffee meet-up? (quick because I'm actually going in to buy birthday gifts -- dull dull dull!!)
Very last minute I know!

.. sorry - normally I would be up for it, but tomorrow is the first full day with dh that I will have had for two weeks and with the the problems I have been dealing with with my mother, we need it just to catch up.

But I'll bump this for you.

Hope you had a nice day in Glasgow and that you found some approproaite birthday gifts!

SOrry we weren't able to meet up - when I'm a little less distracted by my mother, I'll maybe try to orngainse another proper meet-up in Glasgow - unless someone else wants to volunteer?

purplemonkeydishwasher · 05/03/2007 09:17

had a lovely day thanks!
DS spent ages running around princes square. whoever designed that was a GENIUS!!

I love Princes Square - dh jokes that I only had a kid so that I could watch my own child running around the mosaic!

I do know the person who desigend it (or at least, the senior partner from the practice): I keep on meaning to ak him if the "play area" created by the mosaic and steps around was intentional, or just a happy accident.

i don't usually go into glasgow on the weekend so i was amazed by how busy it was!! i would have let ds walk around much more if it wasn';t for the crowds! (he's only 17mo)

Drat - just seen this thread - I was in Princes Square last sat. too with my ds!
It's a big treat for ds to get taken into town on the train (from Helensburgh) early doors, have bfast/coffee etc and a run around the ground floor. Then get picked up at lunchtime and a nap in the car on the way home.
Any other Saturdays??

purplemonkeydishwasher · 09/03/2007 12:24

I'll be in again tracy! I get my DH to drop us off when he goes to the football.
