hello! How are you finding life down here?

dd is now over three months, so I've got more of a grip on things than I did before Christmas (!) and would love to meet up, either evenings or days.

OrmIrian · 02/03/2007 08:03

Can't do days...sorry..unless it can wait until Easter hols and then I'd have all three with me

Evening best but could we do Glasto this time - I'd forgotten just how far it is from Wells to Bridgie!

Steppy1 · 04/03/2007 15:24

happy to do Glastonbury...is that you Joelallie ??

How's it going two cats ?? I remember you saying that you thought that you might come having just had the baby..... !!!

We're really settled thanks, DS and DD settled in so well (as have our 2 cats ) which makes everything settled too...I've managed to find myself a part time job (sports coaching) which is just perfect....and we've added a black lab puppy to our family - she's now a hefty 17kg 17 wk old pup - it's a bit like having a baby again without the broken nights !!!

Love to you all....any dates in mind ??

Steppy, yes it was me - I had about ten days of utter euphoria when dd was born when I thought I could do anything. Then the reality kicked in (and we also had some feeding problems, which didn't help). But we are now fine and dandy - and she goes to bed at 7, so I can come out now!

I'm glad the move has worked out so well - so much so that you are adding to the family already! V impressed.

Look forward to meeting up either day or evening.

Yep that's me Steppy! Name change after christmas when I got bored of it. Where are you coaching? I've started karate recently - it's hysterical!! Feel like such a prat compared to all the little teenagers who are sooo good. But it's good fun and it's got me out running again.

twocatsonthebed · 10/03/2007 16:45

coffee morning sounds good - do you want to CAT me the details?

Steppy1 · 14/03/2007 14:46

sorry have had to put off coffee morning - double booked (woops !!) have been coaching netball - 12 & 13 year olds most of which are hormonal so you get a "look" when you describe or demonstrate the finer art of attack or defence tactics IYNWIM !!!!

TIA

Boobsgonesouth · 22/03/2007 15:25

ormirian is from Bridgy - if she's catches up she'll post I'm sure..only moved here last October so can't help that much....

Boobsgonesouth · 23/04/2007 18:09

anybody lurking ??????

OrmIrian · 23/04/2007 18:28

Indeed I am from Bridgy I mean. As for what you can do...hmmm.. depends on what you like Shops aren't that good, funny little musueum, Arts centre usually has some sort of exhibition on, lovely walks outside of town if you go to the Quantocks. Lots of thing suitable if you have kids with you. Racking my brains...but not much really. Usual small country town I suppose. When are you here. If I wasn't working we could meet up for coffee or something. Sorry not to be more help .

Love the name Steppy Do you think they won't be coming back with the spring then?

Boobsgonesouth · 25/04/2007 17:19

...unfortunately definately going south...one of th eincentives to NOT lose weight is that the "plumpness is making them hang in as much as possible but there really is no hope !!!! You up for a night again OrmIrian ?? Lady McB was around recently and maybe two cats could join us this time..somewhere a bit more central ???
