... and they are lovely. Seriously lovely. The type you would invite to your house and you could quite happily open a bottle of wine with. FYI, Carrie & Justine, just *rsing a 1/2 bottle of champers as I type.

Not a stalker, but was filming for the prog they requested input for with ds2.

deegward, you sound like that Private Eye taxi cartoon:

"I had that Carrie and Justine in the back of my cab..."

(Always thought they would be lovely - they started this after all!)

Janh, you have no idea, sound like a bit of a stalker now, but just scrummy mummy (no link intended to scrummymummy )

Hulababy · 22/06/2004 20:38

Wow! Well done for going on the programme deegward!

deegward · 22/06/2004 21:40

They were filming, "making the house safe for ds2 at 15 months, without compromising the independence of ds1 4 years". Succincly put I think. Although I think I will look at least a size 18 and the house will look awful despite me bleaching the soap before everyone came

Oww deegward you are too kind and you really earned that champagne!! (wish we'd had time to stay and share it with you).

We were just saying on the drive home what a lovely day we'd had with you and what lovely folks mumsnet attracts and how particularly nice you were to take part in the first place when you could probably have found all the advice we gave you right here on Talk (and probably gave some of it yourself in the past!).

Anyway it was fab filming with you and we'd love to film with some more mumsnetters (such bright and articulate folks don't you know) - so don't be shy - if you're vaguely North London and can think of a problem mumsnet would be able to solve - we'll be round!

For everyone's info deegward looked sassy and sexy and her house positively shone and gleamed (but don't let that put others off volunteering - you don't have to dress up/tidy up for us!)

nikcola · 22/06/2004 22:21

come to my house (flat)

Carrie (mumsnet) · 23/06/2004 21:43

We'd love to nikcola - email us at [email protected] and we'll put you in touch with the production company

eidsvold · 24/06/2004 08:52

you are more than welcome to mine ( if you feel like an overseas jaunt in the sun and warm of winter... 24 degrees today - what a queensland winter....)

Carrie (mumsnet) · 24/06/2004 17:36

Don't tempt us... Sadly not sure the Discovery budget would even manage the taxi to the airport

Thanks for the offer though!

I have hell on legs in the shape of a five year old that looks like he should be on the little angels program. Infact anyone watching the one tonight on BBC3 will see a perfect replica of my five year old and they share the same name.

But I live up near Manchester so that rules me out.

Bagpuss30 · 24/06/2004 17:58

Me too, otherwise you could come and sort my three year old out .

SofiaAmes · 24/06/2004 22:12

Ok, here's one for you. Do you have a solution for how I'm supposed to work, spend time with my children, spend time with my dh, cook, do my weekly shop and fit exercise in too....and of course my daily fix of mumsnet. So far I've eliminated rest, relaxation and reading out of my schedule. Any more suggestions? You are welcome to come and film at my house if you have solutions for me.

GeorginaA · 24/06/2004 22:15

SofiaAmes - it's obvious, you're wasting too much time in your day asleep Cut back to an hour a night and you'll have plenty of time!
