My daughter is now 3 and a half months old, and I would really like to meet some other mums living close to or in Crouch End.

Hello! We have the 'not so posh North London mums'thread going. We are fabulous,and you'd be very welcome to join us. Its usually Muswell Hill, but Gella and August 24 are in Crouch End, so we should really go there one day in the interests of fairness! we haven't made a firm decision for the next get together, but keep an eye on the thread, or propose a date!! It'd be great to see you.

As much as we can really! Its very fluid, and some aren't actually mners!!This is a bit of a shameless advert, but do you fancy coming to Signman's signing class on Monday if you're free? Its excellent! Ds loves it. He's 7 months, but there is a nearly-4-month boy that comes. Its a great excuse for a chat too. If you want, contact me or Signman via CAT. Keep an yee on the not so posh thread too, as it looks like we may do something next week.

On Monday I have to take my daughter to the baby clinic, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the signing class. What time is it on? Is it always on Mondays? It sounds interesting. Is it where you communicate with your child through signing before they can speak?? (hope I haven't got that completely wrong!) If the not to posh group meet next week, I would definately love so come along, and thanks for inviting me.

Yep, you've got it right!! There's a 9.30 or a 10.45 class, each an hour long.We usually hang around for both! Actually, if we dont get a whole meet up planned next week, do you fancy a coffee Mon pm or Tues? Or the weekend, as sadly my dh is working.

Gella-Have been meaning to call you! Please don't think I have blown you off. Can you meet one day next week? Thursday is good for me, though afternoon on Wedenesday is good too. I have been working on my dd's school fair(which is the 19th at 1 at Campsbourne school all you crouch enders!) Let me know what day works for you.

Greetings all, I'm a single mum of 3 yr old twins... anyone have kids of similar age that I could get together with for some adult conversation and a chance to tire out my girls so they sleep at night!!!!

We live in crouch end and are far from posh....

There is a meet up today at Cafe Nero in Highgate village at 3pm. For details go to 'mumsnetter meet ups' under topics and then you will see 'not so posh north London mums meet up' - or something like that!

Hi Sibongile! Its in New Southgate, on Mondays. There's about 5 weeks left before we break up for summer hols, but its the kind of thing you can join when you like (and pay as you go), so it'd still be worth coming now and starting back after summer. Get in touch via CAT and I'll give you some more details and a contact number if you like.

Oh I love fun yum,the cafe in the park. I am planning on going to Priory Park next week, does anyone want to join me? If they weather get's yucky then I can invite you all to my house for tea! Let's say Thursday (so I don't double book with the NCT sale/crocidile cafe)at 10 in the park by the sandpit(the playground behind the tennis courts) Any takers?

They have a sing along morning in Priory Park on Thursday morning and it's really good fun.. for kids and mums/dads.... if anyone is going to be there on either Tues or Thurs please let me know and I'll wear a pink carnation so as to identify myself... only joking... but do let me know if anyone will be there.... x
