Me and DD (2y2m) are able to make this date

I had my first MN meet here and it is a lovely place, lots of room for the kiddies to run about and grass for picnicing, and plenty to see.

We could meet by the front entrance - the place near the car park, with the toilets in and the lovely cafe upstairs?

Sounds lovely - I'm envious but I work on Mondays. Also, struggling with the weekend one that Yorkiegirl has been trying to organise on the Leeds thread. Weekends suddenly seem to have got very busy!

I saw the one that you'd done for Gingerbread Cottage too - Yorkiegirl - it's just around the corner from me! I don't work Thursday & Friday so if a future meetup is sorted out on one of those days (preferably Friday) I might manage to make it.....

Have a lovely time anyway - I hope the sun shines for you, and that the piano sculpture is working (it hasn't been the last couple of times that I've been)

OK - I need some help - sorry for going off on a tangent! I am trying to find a good halfway point between Leeds and Grimsby (meeting a friend on Friday!). Any ideas for somewhere pleasant to walk around (enough to kill 4/5 hours) and child friendly?

Doncaster? There's the Earth Centre there. Has a web site if you google.
