I'll be there for a week to visit sil & bil in late June. Will pretty much be on my own with kids on Wed June 30th and part of Thurs July 1st. If anyone fancies an outing with kids (mine are 4.5 and 1.5) to the park, a museum or anything child-friendly, I'd love to meet up. My Spanish is pretty rudimentary, though (and my kids don't speak it at all) so maybe let's do an activity that's language-neutral. My in-laws live in Villalba, so I'll plan to take the train into Madrid on those days. I won't have access to a car & therefore won't be able to navigate the 'burbs, so a meet-up in central-ish Madrid would be best. (Unless there's someone out there on mumsnet who actually lives in Villalba!)
