At last someone from Huddersfield to talk to! I live in Flockton now but am from Huddersfield. I'm working full time at the moment so not much chance to meet up but will keep my eye on your threads! There's quite a few Barnsley/Wakefield Mnetters out there who have met up in the past - had some good meets up at Cannon hall in the summer.

My Dss are 3 and 18months - both at nursery near to where Dh works.

Where in Huddersfield are you?

I'm in Skelmanthorpe! Only a couple of miles off you! Oh please let me know if any meet-ups happen. Would be nice to meet new people. DS at nursery down the road but only for 3 afts per week. DD still with me. Stopped work once had them as couldn't leave DS. Thought I would be fine going back as had really exciting good job but there you have it. Most of my friends with children back at work now and although did go to baby groups with DS, I'm not really into it this time round with DD. No particular reason apart from been there done that I suppose!

Hello all. Phoenix Girl just reading your message to Stinky Pete - can't believe how old your two teeny ones are! How's Tracey doing - I have some stuff that I said I would let her have but now that her DS is at school at not at nursery with my two I should get my act together and arrange to sort it out.

I noticed that there's a Leeds meet up over Feb half term - it's a bit far but maybe we could all try and get together then? Alternatively arrange something nearer to home that week?
