East Finchley, Muswell Hill, Highgate area - Are there any mums out there?

Hello everyone,

I am 34 and mum to a 7 month old baby boy. I live in East Finchley, but know Crouch end very well too. I'm hoping to meet up with other mums in the area, particularly as I have just made a last minute decision not to go back to work for amother 12 months or so.

Would love to start a circle of similar mums in the area for support, laughter and friendship.

I'm a bit older, and so are my kids (6 and 4), and I live in Finchley CENTRAL, AND I work part-time, so.....I don't know that I fit in with any of your criteria, but I'd be happy to venture your way for a tea and cake session!

To Normalflora (and anyone else for that matter),

Tea and cakes sounds lovely.When I say I would like to meet other mums, I really don't have any particular criteria - I think you just need to be a friendly mum in North London.

I'm new to all this meeting up/mumsnet thing, but shall we see who else picks up the thread in the next few days and then we can organise a meeting to suit all? I'll give it to this coming Friday.

In the meantime Normalflora, do you want to let me know what time/days suit you best?

Sophie, as we are both in East Finchley, it might be nice to have a link close to home.

As I said before, I'll log back in on Friday for a round-up of whoever is out there and wants an East Finchley meet and we can sort out a suitable time etc. Hope that's all OK.

It's nice to know there are other mums out there looking for new friends.

Yes we could meet up. I could also go to Crouch end but I guess it would be nice to meet you before it!
I leave just out of East End Road - 10 minutes walk from the high road.
I know that there is a Costa coffee shop on the high road. We could meet there around 2-3 pm any day that is convenient for you.

If you want, we could make it tomorrow Friday - otherwise - any convenient day for you.

hi Everyone - I am 6 months pregnant and will be working for the next 2 months then I am on 5 weeks' leave before baby arrives on 13th June. I am glad I found this thread as I am so much looking forward to meeting other mums in the area.
