hi, I'm a mum from abingdon, just moved here looking for friends

I'm in Abingdon, I've got dd12 & ds 9.

Hi brightwell, how are you doing? I'm really tired, we've been to the snake and ladders today, I might have had more fun than the girls...
My two are quiet young, 3 and 1 and I'm pregnant.
I moved here last may and I haven't made many friends yet, I find it very difficult, I guess I shuld just ask other mums if they'd like to have a coffee or something but I'm always scared they might think I'm crazy or desperate (which I am!!).
Have you lived in this area for a long time?

Hi plasmon, I agree it's difficult meeting people when you are new to an area. I used to have dd's little friends from playgroup round to play & then invite the mum for coffee when they called to collect their child. I've lived in Abingdon on & off for probably 20 years.

Hi Plasmon - I'm just outside Abingdon. I've got DD (7) and DS (3). At work at the moment, though, so not around during the day very much.
