i have three children, 6,16 and 18. would love to meet any single mums in the Romsey area.

ooh my mum lives in East Wellow! we're not there at the moment (and i do have a partner, although he's ill a lot) but one day i might bend your ear about playgrounds and things.

bumping is what you do when you add a message - it means that your thread goes to the top of Active Conversations, which is what a lot of mumsnetters look at exclusively. It doesn't stay there for long, so you may see whole lists of bumps. Different groups of people come on and off the site at different times of day - it's sensible to bump a couple of times around 8 pm as that's apparently when the site is busiest.
