i'd like some advice please! my little boy is six weeks and i cant seem to fill him. he has a bottle and then about 40 mins later he's wants another.shall i put him on a stronger formula?

Which formula do you use and how big a feed is he getting? If you give him another feed in 40 mintues, how much of it does he take?

i'm using cow and gate, he takes 4 ounces, then after 40 mins he'll take abpout another 3

Is he crying from hunger? Or could it be tummy pain, and he just thinks he is hungry, so has a bottle for comfort?

What happens if you give him, say, 6oz? Does he drain it or does he give up after 4? Just wondering if he maybe could take more per feed. I assume you've tried other ways of comforting him - a dummy for example, - in case he's not actually hungry at all. Is he happy after the 2nd 3oz? If he is happy and isn't gaining weight at a ridiculous rate, I'd be inclined to give him the extra feed.

Have to say I'm completely ignorant when it comes to bottle feeding. There are the hungrier baby milks but I don't know what age they are appropriate from.
