Hi everyone!

Two of us mners that have not met before are getting together at Cafe Nero in the town centre on Friday 19th January at 10am for a coffee and a natter and we thought it would be fun to invite you all to join us if you are able and fairly local.

If you are able to get to Tunbridge Wells but are unsure as to where to park etc {if you've not been before}, then ask here and we'll give you directions etc...

Hi - I'm in Tunbridge Wells and would love to meet up. However I've got a newborn & a v active 19 mth old. She's with her childminder Mon-Wed as I'll be back at work soon - so think I'll have to give it a miss. Hope you get some responses from other West Kent Mums..
If there are any with babies, the Odeon in TW is doing a screening on Tuesday mornings for Mums with babies. It's usually at 11am. This week it's Miss Potter.

Well if you're more than happy to help keep an eye on my lovely dd1, it'd be great to meet you. Do I need to wear flowers in my button hole to recognise you, or will you recognise me from looking stressed!??

pianist · 09/01/2007 13:33

Would be great to see you Shivs! We haven't quite worked out those details yet - bit like being on a blind date!

Shivs1974 · 09/01/2007 13:52

Well it's in the calendar so will definitely be there!

Hello girls! I'm a new MNer in Tunbridge Wells but unfortunately won't be able to join you on 19th Jan as I work Mon, Wed, Fri. I have a 9 month old daughter. However, I recently handed in my notice at work and will be a stay-at-home-mum from beginning of Feb so if you met up again......

Thanks for the tip re. the cinema Shivs - that I can do being a Tuesday.

pianist · 10/01/2007 15:38

Could I join you? Have just moved to Tunbridge Wells and would love to meet some other mums but will have to bring 2 year old daughter (easily bribed into good behaviour with muffin). Am seven months pregnant so will be looking fat, hot and slightly harrassed!

pianist · 16/01/2007 21:43

Great! Looking forward to seeing you on Friday.

pianist · 18/01/2007 18:51

Oh God no - I'm not posh! Just a regular TWeller, but from Derby..
If it's still blowing a gale tomorrow, I don't think I'll be able to make it. Or should we reschedule? DD2 had her 1st lot of jabs today and isn't feeling v happy......but if she's fine & dandy, then I'll definitely be there.
Do you know if the Royal Victoria carpark has designated car parking spaces for families - you know how the supermarkets do....would just make it easier if it is raining...

pianist · 18/01/2007 19:27

God, please don't cancel - I've turned down a day's work!

The Royal Victoria Place car park doesn't have any parent & child spaces. The widest spaces are on level 6 where they are 'end on', not side-by-side, but you have to be lucky to catch those.

pianist · 18/01/2007 19:28

Are you joining us Charliecat?
