Moving to Petworth in May

Hi, I'm new to this so forgive mistakes!
I should be moving to the Petworth area in May with my four year old and one year old (boy and girl) I don't know the area well and wondered if any one had any recommendations for visits or tips on what to avoid?!!
If a strange woman approaches you to chat in the park, its probably me! :) Are there any local Mummy groups at all??

Hi, just saw your post and was wondering how you got on.

My family and I are also thinking to move to the Petworth area and would love to hear from anyone else who's experienced moving into the area. We have a 7yr old boy and 2 yr old girl. Any general review of your experience would be so much help, like are people friendly, how's it from you and your partners social perspective.
I'm originally from Horsham but i've been abroad for 15+ years, my wife is Korean so any insights to how you might think we'd get on would be priceless.
