hi! i'm 20 yrs old with two young boys age 18 mths and 5 weeks, i live in newark notts, and i'd really like to make friends with other mums for days out shoppin, for lunch etc.. basically i'd like to broaden my social circle!

Hi shanequa, I'm miles from you in surrey but thought I'd just say hello.

You'll find loads of 'virtual' friends on here and a real life social circle will be a distant memory when the MN addiction kicks in.

I live near Nottingham and would like to meet up with other mums too. I have put my name on the derby meet up thread but its a bit far from Newark.

Maybe we should have our own meetup? There must be other mums from Nottingham Newark Grantham area?

For the actual site just join in any thread that you're interested in or can help on.

As for the meet-up's, have a look to see whether there's one near you soon and just invite your self along, or if you're feeling brave start a new one yourself if there's nothing going on. Or maybe start another thread asking if anyone is in Newark and just take it from there.
