Any new and old mums in SOUTHPORT Merseyside area??

I am brand new to this website and have a four month old baby. Looking for other mums and mums to be in my area to meet up for catch ups and fun. Lets form a group. I work from home and for myself so have ample time to socialise with others.

DS is 7 and still likes it there ! there is a netted off area they can play footy......

hope so.... i would prefer that date too!! will see what everyone else says!!

but that would be good..always a lull after new year, so would be nice to meet sooner rather than later..x

lulu have i just been on the same route as you round tescos this morning!! I did aldi too!! and got cheap crackers (real naff ones which i love) from Homebase £1.75p for 12

Hi ladies - I live about 20 -30 minutes away from Southport and would love to come to the meetup - (as long as someone could give me directions) - I have a 5 month old DS - have tried finding mums nearer me but there doesn't seem to be any on MN (or if they are, they don't want me to know )

2nd Jan is fine with me - as I said, just need directions (from the A59)

sorry - can't do the 2nd, ds is in nursery and i have appointment with my consultant in what has now become a nearly weekly trip to LWH. can do the 3rd though if it turns out that way.

have just rediscovered kidsplay, haven;t been for 8 months or so, ds loved it - is a bit of wimp on the slide though and i am too round and ball shaped to get up there and slide down with him myself......

Boo - I am back in work that day - dd is going to my mums - she loves kidsplay (both of them!!). I will try to do the next one (as long as it is before this buba decides to arrive - long story but will be between 6 and 9 weeks - eek!!!)

Oh I had a look at that last night funnily enough - saw it on another thread of yours!!

Ormskirk for me -dd was Faz but that is shut - live in Maghull so Ormskirk best bet and also mum wouldn't find her way to LWH!!!

Currently nearly 31 wks - got gestational diabetes at beginning of Dec - got it last time but quite late on (34 wks) and was diet controlled, but this time - having no luck in getting sugar levels within levels given - so off to see diabetic nurse & consultant tomorrow for insulin - not looking forward to that - but necessary! I don't like the not being able to conrol what is happening - quite logical and scientific mind - but bodies don't quite work like that! Anyway - c-section for me - two diff consultants have diff opinions of when - one said 38-39 weeks and latest said could leave me to go full term - depends on control of sugar levels. (BTW dd was 10lb 14 oz) - so the saga will continue for the next few weeks!!

ohh someone else at the womens on 2nd jan..also there to see consultant [H.S] to get induction date..

might come to future southport meets but cant do any at the min..am in liverpool and have a 3yr old ds and 1yr old dd and am due again 14th jan[but hoping to be induced by 8th]
