Hi Lolalu - I'm in Gateshead but moving this weekend - to Newcastle!! I only moved here 2 months ago and have found it really hard to meet anyone. I did put a few posts on when we first moved but didn't hear anything. Am scared of looking like a real billie and going up to people in the street and saying hello, will you be my friend!!
Anyway, I'm pregnant with fist LO due 2nd Feb. What about you?

I have a son aged 3 and a daughter aged 18months. Am considering a third but not sure can take plunge as it were! Have been in gateshead for about year and half. Not used to online things but thought would give this a go!! Still meet up with NCT friends made when first pregnant but would like to broaden social network. Have you tried NCT? Quite good for meeting people. Is your pregnancy going well? First is v exciting!

Hiya, I've tried to get on NCT antenatal classes but not heard back from them since original saying we were on waiting list. Once we've moved, I was thinking of finding out about any coffee mornings etc. Are you involved with main NCT or just meeting up with your group?

Is your DS at nursery at all? Has the time flown since yours were tiny?

We've got our first parentcraft class at QE on Thurs - a bit scared because now it's all becoming a bit real. So far, all has gone well and I've had quite an easy time with pregnancy. Fingers crossed that that doesn't mean it's all going to go downhill!

I hadn't really done t'internet stuff either til we moved here (didn't have time) but have really enjoyed just reading what people have to say and picking up pointers from ante-natal thread. I used to work full time but since we moved I've just been temping.

I think there are a few other MN around in this area because a few people have started threads at various points. I think there's so much stuff though that it's just chance if you see it.

Hi, I'm in Ryton; recently moved from Newcastle. Then there's Niceglasses who is in South Sheilds and Molesworth in Newcastle. I?ve met up with Niceglasses at the Eldon Square softplay and we are going to a lecture together (sounds fun doesn?t it?) next Monday. I?found it?s quite hard to get a meetup organised as we all have kids to wrangle.

I?m sure there are a few more..Mrs Mill?s was in Durham but she moved.
