Anybody in West Yorkshire?

Hi Everyone,

My name is Jo, I have a 5 month old daughter and would love to meet some Mums in the West Yorkshire area - Leeds/Bradford etc. - anybody here from my neck of the woods?

Hi Nejon, I'm in Wyke, BD12, with 5 month old son, funny isn't it, have just seen my health visitor this morning, getting DS weighed in and had loads of questions to ask, walked in got him weighed then walked out again, wishing that I had asked the questions,wishing I had friends with babies and not older children (thats because have DD aged 6 going on 16), feeling low at this point, having a bad week and nothing to do with children.

I'm sorry it has taken me a few days to reply but I haven't managed to get on my laptop until today as for the past few days I have been suffering from gastric flu - NOT GOOD LET ME TELL YOU , have been feeling very sorry for myself!
I am really pleased to hear from you but sad to hear you are feeling low so I'll send you a hug.
Don't know if it's what you may be experiencing but I am suffering from P.N.D but seem to be going through an o.k. patch at the moment - so I have some idea of how you maybe feeling when you are low.
Please feel free to email me directly - [email protected] and we can have a good chat and maybe arrange to meet up sometime?

Hi guys, I've just moved to Otley and have a 4 year old DD and an 18 month old DD. Feeling a bit isolated as I've left my friends behind, so I'm delighted to have just discovered this website!

Hi all. Where abouts in Wakefield are you Gingermonkey? There's a few of us who have met up in the past Wakefield/Barnsley way. I'm in Flockton so kind of in between Wakefield/Hudds/barnsley. I've actually just got a new temp full time job so no more meet ups for me until summer Will keep an eye on these threads though.

Oh so near!! My DS2 is almost the same age as yours too and DS1 is 3.6 Do you ever go to Jellybeans/Leapfrogs? Maybe we could meet up over a weekend? I'm always moaning about not having people near by with similar aged babies - typical that I'm going back to work full time after being part time or on maternity leave for past three years!

I've never been to either, are they both Hudds way? I tend to venture towards wakefield - nice as it is!!! I have friends with kids similar age to dd but the little one tends to be left out! He's at nursery part time but it would be great to have a little playmate, he tries to join in with the big girls but they just get annoyed with him! We will have to get something sorted out, especially as we are so close by. It's such a shame you are working (I'm a lazy full time mum!!!) but we should be able to meet up.
