I have just recently moved to Hampshire and am trying to find afternoon activities (and new friends) for my 3 year old who is missing her old mates. Does anyone know of anything good in the hedge end to Eastleigh kind of areas please? Thank you.

Hi there, and welcome to Hampshire!
How about swimming lessons? My dd (3 1/2) goes to swimming lessons at Fleming Park Leisure Centre on a Wednesday afternoon. I am pretty sure they have classes on other days as well.
There are also a few soft play areas - there is one in Hedge End (can't remember the name sorry), Kids2day in Chandlers Ford, and Marwell Activity Centre in Colden Common.
Don't know if that helps. Give me a shout if you need any more help. Also, I would be happy to meet up if you like - don't worry I am not a mad woman!
Take care

Hi, thanks for the info, will look some of that up. We have been to Marwell & Crazy Kingdom soft play areas. Maybe we could meet up one day at one of the play areas, the next week is a bit busy with inlaws visiting but after that looks good. I'm not a mad woman either, bit scatty though.

I started a thread here - maybe try and get a few of us out in an evening to give us chance to chat!

Hi Zophiella, dd and I are usually free on Thursday afternoons, so it would be lovely to meet up at one of the soft play places. I like Marwell best as the hot chocolate is fab!
Hope you have fun with the inlaws and just let me know when you are free.

Great idea. Will post a message once the inlaws have gone home. Will look forward to it.

Ooops so scatty, sorry, the inlaws DIDNT stay forever, just been one busy thing after another, finally moved into the new house and had a stream of house guests and demands since then. Still fancy meeting up for a hot choc at Marwell?
