Hi, I have a 15 month old DD and would be nice to chat to other Mummy's with children around the same age, or any age for that matter.

Hi. Haven't been on here for a few weeks but nice to see I've had a cople of replies. I actually live in Chafford Hundred but only up the road from Grays. Don't really know Rainham but I once worked in the Carpet Right offices there. babygirl05 do you go to any mother and todder groups or anything like that with your little girl?

I've thought about putting my dd in a nursery just a couple of mornings a week but they're so expensive so still thinking about it at the mo. Want her to get used to other children and sharing though like you said. How long has she been going to her nursery?

shes been going about a month now, like i say she just does from 10am-3pm 1 day a week. I can tell a difference in her already, she loves it. I had to really consider it also because of the money, it costs us 20.70 for the time she goes. They do make it so difficult as they are so exspensive

The two I've looked at were about £22 so roughly the same. I've got friends who's children go to nursery on a full time basis and they all enjoy it. It's good to know that just one day a week works well. Is the nursery in Rainham? Are you from that area? I grew up in South London but have lived in Chafford for the last 4 years, my hubby is from Upminster so have got to know Essex over the last 6 years.

Im from Leeds, i came to stay for a few weeks and fell pregnant unexpectidly. yes the nursery is just down the road from me only 10 mins walk. I still dont really know Essex too well, i know where all the shops are...lol!! I get very bored n homesick sometimes

I'm not too familar with Essex either. I kind of know my way to Romford and Hornchurch but that's about as far as my knowledge goes, and my way to Lakeside, naturally. We decieded to live in Chafford as it seemed halfway between hubby's family and halfway to mine in London. When was your dd 1? Mine was 2nd August. Can't beleive how quick the last year has gone. It's only recently I've started to get a bit bored and thought I need to find some little friends for my dd, she's got so much energy all the time!

Yes thats exactly the same as me, i thought we both had to make some new friends, and aswell its only now ive had two minutes to even think about doing it, the last year has been so busy we also moved, we lived in south ockendon when i first come down. Olivia was 1 on 28th sept, whats your dd name? do u have msn>??

Hels24 · 28/11/2006 12:07

DD is called Sophie. I know what you mean about having a spare two minutes, although I still struggle for it now. Sometimes I can't even go to the loo without her wanting to come too, although my Mum assures me I was the same. Don't mean to sound silly but is msn just normal email? If it is then yes I have but if it's not then I'm not sure. I emailed you to the address you said before.

no hun thats ok it aint silly, ive only just got used to it all, some days it will be my only source of communication. Its like another place to talk, you add other people who also have it and then you can just talk to them on there, why dont you check it out? www.msn.com
Its free and much better to chat on
