Some more people from the area have posted. Not sure they are specifically from Doncaster though.

I get over to Doncaster about once a month to meet dp for lunch. Maybe next time I come over we could meet up.

Pennypocket · 15/04/2004 12:06

emilykatesmum · 15/04/2004 17:43

I remember from the last thread you started that you were only wanting to look for people in Doncaster itself now. I am sure there may be the odd one person on here from Doncaster but not sure who. As Mumsnet is generally nationalwide, and even people from abroad more and more, it's unlikely that you will get a huge response I think. Sorry.

Oh actually no - did you check out that thread link? There is someone - Gingerbear - she is from Doncaster. No idea where in Doncaster though.
Do you have much access to your computer? If so, then why not co,me and join some of the chat threads, or other discussions. I know it isn't them same as meeting other mums in the flesh, but it can be a starting point and can make you feel less isolated.

Pennypocket · 16/04/2004 13:14

I don't know if you mean't to sound so abrupt Emilykates Mum but I was only asking because I don't drive but DP does so I could still get over to Doncaster.
Let me know anyway

emilykatesmum · 16/04/2004 14:09

i'm sorry pennypocket its how i worded it i don't mean to sound agressive.

How do use the chat on here then hulababy?

how often do u come over to doncaster and y do u visit pennypocket?

Thats ok - I know how easy it can be to sound abrupt etc on e-mail without meaning to.

DP works in Doncaster every other weekend so I could probably hitch a lift with him. I'm quite new to the area and don't know many people with kids so it would be nice to meet some new people! How long have u lived in Doncaster?

Hulababy · 16/04/2004 21:03

Just a little emilykatesmum Yes, kind of addicted to MN I am afraid!!!

As I said before I come over to Doncaster 3 days a week as I currently work in Doncaster. Also, I have a lot of family living in Doncaster as that is where both me and DH come from. I actually have an auntie living in Balby!

emilykatesmum · 16/04/2004 22:05

i have lived here all my life. Where about do u live hulababy? and y don't u live in doncaster anymore?

How old are ur LO's?
