yes i imagine that, it never goes to plan or has one imagines, its always something.
did you have a boy or a girl? do you have your little one at home now? i expect you do
i am in london but in Kew my dd is nearly 16months.
i am an older mum (37)as i remenber the first 3 months were brutal, dont think anything prepares you for that, but somehow we get there.
do you have support near you?

sfxmum · 24/09/2006 13:37

sfxmum · 25/09/2006 10:48

bumpimg for you honey

supamum1 · 25/09/2006 21:12

Sorry SFXmum been busy and not had time to reply. Yes I had a little boy and he was in hospital for 3 months he came out just after his due date hich was end of July. he is really starting to blossom as he screams for his feeds and he never used to. I am in Stockwell - dont have much support as my family live in Luton but we see them every weekend if we can. Also no one tells you that you are likely to have relationship problems with ur partner, oh well

sorry to hear your are having problems.
its such a hard hard time anyway and such a major shift even to the most solid of relationships.
i can't imagine the worry. dd was briefly (1 night) at SCBU when she was born and i remember just crying and crying about it even a couple of months later.

do chat if you want and feel free to CAT me if you want, its not a time to be alone

you are doing great

Uwila · 26/09/2006 13:29

Oi, SFX, oldermum? I am 37 and I will have you know I am very young.

Uwila · 26/09/2006 13:30

Sorry, supamum for the hijack. I think you are doing great. And you are so right. Having children is so stresful.
