Anyone near Amersham?

I moved to Little Chalfont near Amersham recently with a 2 year old and another one due in 4 weeks. Would love to hear from/meet other mums in the area so do get in touch!

Hi I live in Monks Risborough and I believe I am somewhat close to Amersham - still learning the area and country for that fact I moved to the UK almost 4 years ago to marry my DH. I have a 6 month old son.

I live in Pinner. That's not a million miles is it? Never heard of Monks Risborough though so wondering if we're talking about the same Amersham on the Metropolitan line?

If that is the case you could ride the tube all the way to the end and meet up with the city slickers and kids on friday 7th may.

It is the same Amersham on the Met line. Monks Risborough is on the other branch of the Chiltern Railways - which goes into Marylebone Station in London.

Would love to meet up with new people as I don't have very many friends - went from working long hours in London to being a mom. Not sure if I will be available the 7 May as I am looking for another job, but thanks for the offer - I will try. My DS won't be there unless I kidnap him from nursery!

Shall we sort out a date? Only spanner in works for me is a baby due on 2nd May! Could either meet before that, one day during the week for a coffee or a few weeks after when I am sorted with the new baby.

What would suit you best?

I've been in Amersham for 5 months after 5 years abroad. Would definitely be interested in a meet up. Has the bump appeared yet lukeandbumpsmum?
