Hi,

I was wondering if there are any mumsnetters in the andover area? I moved here early in the year. I know a handful of people locally but noone with children. DD is 3 weeks old.

Hi Clare, did you find anyone in Andover? I am moving there in the New Year (mid-Jan), and was wondering the same thing. DD about 4 weeks, and DS about to be three years old.

coolmama · 05/12/2006 20:10

hello - at the top of the page in the grey box is a heading "useful stuff" and along that line is an "acronym list" which will explain all the shortcuts you will come across in the messages. HTH

Thanks, Coolmama, new mum hormones (second time around) have mashed my brain, so it's v useful to have the acronym list...

Hi there Claire, I live just down the road in Tidworth. My DH is in the army here and we live in married quarters, have been here about 18 months and still only really know a handful of people!!! I have one dd who is 3.10 and I'm a SAHM trading on ebay at the moment, until Sept when she goes to school (to tight to pay childcare )Its nice to see there are a few of us in this neck of the woods !

Hi,

I'm in Andover too. There certainly aren't too many of us!

moraine · 04/02/2007 10:23

I also live in sunny Andover! My two children are school now, 4 & 6 . Should be thinking of going back to work at some stage!

As we have this thread going, does anyone know of any decent carboot sales in the Andover or Tidworth area just now? I know there's one at picket piece but thats April - Oct I think. It appears we have to travel to Salisbury or Swindon during the winter?? Or does anyone know one going I haven't heard about???

boysandtoria · 05/02/2007 09:42

Hi all hooray not alone lol. No idea about car boots guess i should think about driving leasons first hahah. Today is my sons first day in nursery only for an hour or so test and then four hours a week just so i get some time with the younger one. Well if any of you fancy a coffee or chat ping me an email and we can go from there
