any mums in poole

Hi, i moved to the area not so long ago and now have a tiny baby boy 5 weeks old. I get bored of just going to the shops and taking him out by myself!! any ideas, or anyone in the same boat

Hi Lissey! I'm just by Wimborne with a 6 month boy - if you'd like to meet up contact me through 'contact another talker". I think there are some groups for under ones in Poole - I've been told there's one in Corfe Mullen if that's not too far. Also if you're bf there are a couple of groups out this way so I assume in Poole too - a friend went to one and met quite a few Mums with babies the same age. I went to NCT groups when DD (now 5) was small and we lived in Poole. This time round I've gone to a toddler group and found quite a few people with babies there, it might be worth trying a local one. My HV put me in contact with someone who had a baby a very similar age when DD was small, so it might be worth having a chat with your HV. Hope you are enjoying living here, it's excellent in the summer !
