My ds is 16 weeks just had his injections and isn't a very happy boy! I guess I've become spoiled because he's usually such an angel but it's a bit stressful and has made me realise that I really need to meet up with some other new mums. I'm 30 my dp is 26 all our friends are single and I'm finding Camden isn't the most baby-friendly area. Anyone live around here or have some ideas of what to do in this area??

Hiya, I'm a nanny in Kentish Town and my boss has a 4 month old little boy, she goes to a thing called 'pushy mothers' (excercise thing where you push the babies round in their buggies and do excercises and chat on the way round!) and has met lots of other mums there... Also could try baby gym at the Talacre centre when Dylan's a bit older. I had the same problem when the little girl I look after was a baby and they were living in Camden, I sympathise!

I'm in Camden Town too, with dd1 21months and dd2 14weeks. DD1 goes with childminder to Talacre Centre and City Farm, both in Kentish Town, and also to London Zoo. There's 3 play areas in Regent's Park and Primrose Hill. Or how about Rhyme Time (Tuesdays 11-12pm) and Baby Bounce for under 2's (Wednesdays 1.30-2.30pm) at Camden Town Library? You'll find plenty of parents in Bean&Cup coffee shop (non-smoking w plenty soft chairs) - this is where I normally hang out with DD2!

Oh, and there's Big Scream, every Thursday 12noon at Everyman Theatre in Hampstead. Check website for listings (www.everymancinema.com).
