Are there any older mums in the Lincoln area with small children. I am 44 with a baby - Alice who is 1 year old, having started again with a new partner. I have 2 other children aged 25 and 22. They say mums are getting older these days, but I havent met any.

I work full time but would like to get together in the evenings for a 'parent and toddlers group' in the Angus area does anyone know of one?

Welcome to Mumsnet thorpey and Ballgirl!

I'm nowhere near you but just to let you know there plenty of older mums on this site, including me. I'm almost 43 and have 5 year old dd and a 2.5 year old ds.

Happy posting

Hi thorpey, I'm 45 and my kids are 16, 14 and 5. Lots of us older ones on this site. Sorry I'm nowhere near Lincoln though. If you start a thread with Lincoln in the title people might notice it more.

Likewise Ballgirl you need to start a thread with Angus in the title line to attract the attention of those who live near you
