Hi everyone!

In the New Year Mumsnet will be doing a feature for the home page about the meet-ups that are organised through our Local sites. (Find your Local site here: local.mumsnet.com/find-a-local-site)

Some of you will be participants in the many active meet-up groups that we have going on around the country, and we want to hear from you!

We'd like to know about your positive experiences with meet-ups in your Local area. Maybe you are a Local Ambassador, or a regular face at meet-ups near you, or maybe you've just attended your first meet-up. Tell us about it!

Many mums have told us that these get-togethers have been a "life line". Is it the same for you? Let us know on this thread.

I am ambassador for Chepstow and we Just had our first Chepstow (South Wales) meet-up. Had a few attend and we all had a great afternoon.
