Hi, I am a busy full time working mum of 2 toddlers living in SW19. Because most meet ups are during the week, I would be keen to meet up with other local mumsn (and kiddies) who, like me, can only do or prefer to do weekend meetups. Be great to hear from you

Hello I am in SW12 - where is SW19?

fisil · 06/07/2006 08:45

we have had some excellent evening meetups for SW London. Maybe it's time we organised another one!

fisil · 06/07/2006 08:45

I'm SW20, BTW.

mumkids2 · 06/07/2006 21:49

Fisil would be keen to be kept in the loop for any future evening meet ups - happy to help organise.

the blonde - sw19 is southfields/wimbledon/colliers wood area. sw12 is balham way isnt it? If so - not too far away

Hello

I live in SW2 / Sw12 borders and am in the same boat. DS work lots at w/e as well so I am often on my own with a 15 month old DS that needs lots of entertaining. I tend to end up goimg shopping a lot and spend rather more money than I should so any meetings would be a welcome distraction!

mumkids2 · 08/07/2006 21:44

well there seems to be a few of us in the same boat...that being the case i am more than happy to attempt to try and organise something...and hopefully all being well it may be something that becomes a regular event.
Any mums interested in a meet up can you please let me know if you prefer, as a starter, an evening mums only.. or a weekend meet up with the kiddies.... then we can put our thinking caps on on a venue. look forward to your suggestions.

Hi, I'm in SW4 and sometimes free on Saturdays. Is this Sat any good for anyone?

franch · 13/07/2006 14:29

bump

mumkids2 · 13/07/2006 22:30

ok ladies....now we have a few interested how about meeting up in a couple of weeks time - on Saturday 29th July - this will give everyone enough time to make any arrangements if necessary.

Looking at where we are all scattered Balham, Clapham, Wimbledon- Earlsfield seems pretty central and accessible to us all.

Apologies, with being a working mum I am not up on all the kiddie friendly venues - but there is a fab place in Earlsfield which i think will be great. It is quite small, has a big soft play area which the cafe area over looks, does great coffee and toddler/childrens food, is air conned (incase is a hot day) and very safe so the kiddies can play on the bouncy toys - so while all the kiddies are getting to know one another - we can do the same over coffee and chat.

I can send address, directions etc - but will be easier to do from my email account - so if interested in meeting on this date or just to be kept in the loop- just email me at [email protected] (thats .co.uk NOT .com) and then can do all in group email (god i am sounding organised!!).
It should be a fun morning and great for the kids to make new friends. Look forward to hearing from you and if any of you have a better venue in mind - just let me know.

Unlikely I'll be able to make 29th but still free tomorrow

TheBlonde · 24/07/2006 20:02

Hello
Sorry for the delay in getting back to this thread
I can't do the 29th unfortunately but keep me in the loop for any future dates

franch · 07/08/2006 15:03

Hi all, can anyone do Sat 19/Sun 20 Aug??

CristinaTheAstonishing · 07/08/2006 19:15

We are away till September.

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 07/08/2006 19:29

Bugger, always seem to miss exciting things to do. Am in SW19 and have two DD's. Would love to meet up either with our without kiddle-winks. Let me know if anything crops up in the near future as DD1 will be at school in Sept so it's just me and DD2 (7 months) rattling about trying to amuse ourselves .

franch · 07/08/2006 19:39

Hi Georgie, see also this thread.

Can also do Sat 26th if that's good for anyone

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 09/08/2006 08:22

Franch, thanks for this. We're on hols though so won't be able to make 21st. Back on 27th and then DD1 off to school on 7th Sept so will be free(ish) from early Sept for any other meet ups. Feel the need to get some dates in diary so i don't end up going loopy .
