who's up for a night out before the holidays? shall we do stokey again, or branch out? i thought yum yums was great actually, so would be happy going there again.

shall we try & fit it in before arabica has her baby!

Dino has just emailed me to say she would like to come too, but is having a break from MN this week. (Tho clearly not so much of a break she didn't see the thread...)

hoxtonchick · 03/07/2006 19:04

excellent. anyone else?

OP posts:
Posey · 03/07/2006 19:45

If dh isn't working (some chance!) I'd love to come along. Not had much luck with you Stokey lot so far.
Tell me the date and I'll let you know (dh has his rota til early Aug).

hoxtonchick · 03/07/2006 20:06

oh yes, a date.... anyone got any preferences?

OP posts:
frogs · 03/07/2006 20:08

Okay, we need to talk dates. Dino can't do 18th July, I'm a bit doubtful about 13th and 14th for myself, because of dh work commitments.

21st is end of term, so too late. How about Monday 17th or Wednesday 19th?

hoxtonchick · 03/07/2006 20:18

both good for me.

OP posts:
Posey · 04/07/2006 19:43

Dh is working both
But if I'm the only one unable to mke tha date, then not to worry. It'll be hard to please us all in under 3 weeks!

hoxtonchick · 05/07/2006 09:55

that's a shame posey. are there any dates you can do?

just realised the monday is probably better for me than wednesday.

[slight hijack] Hello HC, nice to meet you by accident!

hoxtonchick · 05/07/2006 09:57

hello! nice to meet you too. why don't you come on our night out, bring lovely dd .

OP posts:
bundle · 05/07/2006 10:00

I might be able to do those dates

am going to yum yum's soon but wouldn't mind a repeat visit as it's so nice...how are you hc? saw the mini top shop clothes as a dashed up to BH yesterday...and thought of you

krabbiepatty · 05/07/2006 10:00

She madly shouty in the evenings at the moment ("wah wah, it's too hot, all my creases are hot and sweaty, oh this bath is nice, I'm too hot again, wah wah, give me a snack, now I'm too hot again, wah wah, etc) but maybe the next one? [got pump and expressing plans...]

hoxtonchick · 05/07/2006 10:05

hi bundle! dd is sadly growing out of her topshop mini clothes, must pass them onto someone... haven't seen you for ages.

kp, i am very like that in the evenings at the moment, so sympathise.

OP posts:
aelita · 05/07/2006 21:46

drat, DH is away on those dates. I'm either on my lonesome or will have my sister here. I'd feel a bit bad dragging her down from Durham then buggering off for the evening,

Arabica · 05/07/2006 23:16

Hi everyone, I would love to meet up and am happy for a return visit to Yum Yums. My C section is 27 July, I can do any night week beginning 17th unless baby decides to come early, of course, but then they do have that rather nice pool out the front.

hoxtonchick · 05/07/2006 23:18

marvellous!

OP posts:
Arabica · 05/07/2006 23:22

BTW hoxtonchick am still mostly wearing your maternity clothes! Those noppies trousers are so comfortable. I'm usually in them or my trusty next yoga pants.

hoxtonchick · 06/07/2006 09:20

oh brilliant. hope you're not too hot!

OP posts:
Arabica · 06/07/2006 12:54

Not too bad but I weigh about 25st and last night DH had to help me out of the bath cos I got stuck!

Arabica · 06/07/2006 13:33

I just got an email from a musician friend: if anyone fancies some classical music in Clissold Park, she's playing in a string quartet on 15 July from 3pm on the lawn at the old bowling green (opposite the goats). Kids welcome. I think it's free to get in, she didn't mention an admission price.
