Mums in streatham

Hi I have a 22 month old son and am 7 month pregnant with no 2 does anyone no of any meet up in streatham as I need to keep a very active boy who is used to nursery entertained

Hello, cjs76! There's a Streatham meet-up thread here . There was a meet-up last week at Hillside Gardens. There are no specific plans afoot for another at the moment, though something may happen after those of us with school-age children have got through the end-of-summer-term whirlwind.

Am I right in thinking you've just gone on maternity leave so your son has left nursery and is missing the social life? If so, I would investigate the toddler groups and one o'clock clubs near you. (Mumsnet meet-ups are fairly sporadic - we've had one in Streatham so far to my knowledge - and more directed towards the needs of parents, and there won't necessarily be any children there that are the same age as yours, so may not be quite what you're looking for.) If you are willing to say whereabouts in Streatham you are, someone on here may be able to give you some recommendations.

I am going on mat leave in 3 weeks time and starting investigations in preparation as he has been in nursery since he was 6 months - thanks for info - I have been investigating the 1 o'clock clubs. I am at the Norbury end of Streatham Common

cjs76, I'm in Streatham Hill so don't know much about the toddler groups around Norbury (DS3 went to Norwood Grove pre-school but that's for slightly older children than yours - starts from around two and a half iirc).
