new mum in N16

I read on another meet up thread that there are quite a lot of mumsnetters in N16. I'm a fairly new mum, DD was 10 weeks yesterday, and I don't really know anyone in the area with a baby the same age. Would anyone be interested in getting together, some adult company would be nice!

KY - there are quite a few N16/N1 mumsnetters on here.

I am an 'older mum' with DS1 of 10 and 8 month old B/B twins.

Hello ky! Hope you're meeting some mums. Have you found the paddling pool in Clissold Park? Loads of mums and kids there every day except Monday and Thurs when it's closed for cleaning, and boy does it need it each time!

Hi, thanks all, not found Clissold Park yet - too hot for me to travel out with babe... Don't know where N16 is... I live in Highams Park which is geographically north east london but I have an 'E' post code, but I am also too far from east london mums who r in Bethnal Green! I am nr to Chingford, Walthamstow, Epping, Buckhurst Hill, South Woodford, Wanstead area, but I think I will have to travel in the car to meet anyone, cos these doesn't seem to be anyone in an area that is local to me. But am getting A-Z now and will look up clissold park ( I think Hackney?) - tnx again - will keep trying!!! kyx

Clissold Park is great... I think they have a meet up of local moms first wed every month? Organised by NCT... will try find out more
