Mumsnetters in Newcastle?

I'm thinking about moving back to my home town, Newcastle with my DS, who is 19 months.

I'll be on my own and will have to work - can anyone recommend a good childminder/nusery? Where's good to go with wee ones?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Janos. I got a 10 month DD. I live in Heaton so could only give advice about this area. We go to the Dene, KoKos soft play, Laing gallery (good childrens room), Byker pool nicest pool I've been to in newcastle and there are good groups if you are only part time. There is loads to do, its fab. I've not found a nursery yet but will need to in 2 months, let me know how you get on.

Just have a small glass, the earliest I've ever had one is 5.30pm. DD doesn't go to bed until 8pm
