Hello all i've recently moved to n16 and loving it, only we haven't really made any friends yet. I have a 2 year old son and would love some company going to clissold park, and in this great weather it would be great to arrange a picnic for next week.

I live in E5 but unfortunately am not much good for daytime meet-ups as I work Sad.

However we do have the occasional evening get-together in church st or nearby so look out for those. That reminds me, must get on with organising the next one!

Keep posting - there are lots of mumsnetters in the area!

If you want to meet people in RL, then as well as just hanging out in Clissold Park you could try the story-telling sessions at the Library (although I know it's not really the weather at the moment).

kate79, have you checked out the Defoe Road Playgroup (9.30 am Thursday in St Mary's Church Hall, just next to car repair place), or the one in (I think) Bouverie Road at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall, Friday am? Loads of mums and little ones there, and v friendly.
