I've recently moved to the Borders, a beautiful area but sadly lacking in activities. My local Mums and Babies group is friendly enough but I don't know any of them very well yet and, of course, it's only for a couple of hours a week. We're so rural there's not even a local coffee shop to sit in; if only there were a few others like me so we could arrange days out or coffee mornings, just the usual stuff for keeping sane and socialised! Is there anyone else out in the stix and spending much of each day alone with the kid/s? I'm thinking mainly of the Peebles/Galashiels/Selkirk/Melrose kind of area, and surrounding towns/villages etc.
