Have great holiday amyjo. Still can't decide whether to have a holiday this year or not. Can't contemplate the thought of being away until DD calms down a bit (colic probs back, doesn't sleep well, and won't take milk from a bottle, ever)

Have been forgetting to check this thread .

We can't make the 19th June as we are going away on holiday that day. But will hopefully make another one .

Teabelly, did your DD stay with your mum on Friday night? (I am asking as I want to check whether or not I may be going mad )

PC - yes she did, you're not going mad

CSWS - re colic, Dentinox colic drops worked for dd, but ds had it bad and colief drops did the trick for him. You can use both if breastfeeding or bottle feeding ?? maybe they'd be some help?? Also dd has a wicked temper on her - very bloody minded, must get it from dh, couldn't possibly be me , but I'm sure part of hers was actually a temper tantrum because I was following GF and she had obviously decided that no she didn't want to be in bed by 7!

teabelly, DS and I saw your DD yesterday morning as we went to buy milk and the paper. At first I was thinking (and saying to DS) "look there's a baby a bit older than DD" and then I thought "I know that baby - I think".

Oh it was fab thanks PC - dh was out friday evening too, and ds went to bed relatively early so I sat in with my chip supper, a bottle of red and then finished off the box of chocs we've had in the cupboard...haven't told dh that tho

Thanks teabelly - think we've just discovered the cause of the returning colic - seems that if I eat dairy then she is really bad, so I'll just have to avoid it from now on. We've done the whole dentinox/colief/infacol/gripe water thing, so figure I qualify as an expert on the subject now .

hey all. we are ok with both. would prefer the friday so that i dont have to bring mindee. ( train station steps with double pushchair) but if everyone prefers monday then i will cope. ( give me an excuse to ask a nice looking guy to help me!!! lol)

how is everyone? bethany is just getting over a tummy bug, so felt like i have spent the last 3 days scrubbing the carpet!!!

Little hijack as I can see you are from around these parts. Been looking for another nursery and been told about Preston Nursery,Preston, Nr Hitchin any of your little ones go there or do you know anyone else that does and how good/bad it is?
