Ripley (DE5) - new mum from Poland looks for a friend

Hi there,
I'm 24 and have a 14 months old (cheeky) son. We're about to move to Ripley and I'm looking for somebody to talk to and go for a coffee with otherwise the ladies at Boots will think I'm a weirdo who can't stop talking! And my husband will go nuts if I will call him again at work for a chat!
I have seen that there are some meetings in Derby but I don't have an english driving license so I'm not mobile yet.

I am from Sheffield that isn't too far away. There are a few people on here from around the area and maybe even some from Ripley too - can't remember exactly though.

You are welcome to join our Derby meets. Can you get a train or bus into Derby from Ripley?

We're moving to the new Westbury's estate off Warmells Lane (if the builders will not spend too much time for their lunch breaks!) The Date is 27/02.
I can get bus/train etc to Derby, but I have nobody to leave Dominik (my son) with, I'll be searching for a part time childminder soon. Maybe then? Both grandmas are living away (one in poland and the other in Greater Lancashire).

The next Derby meet is on 19th Feb so maybe too early. We are planning one for Easter holidays though - maybe Thursday 8th April. All children welcome!

Nearby too. I live near Clay Cross so not very far at all. I am mobile and so don't find it difficult to get to most places! Hope to see you soon
