Hi mumsnet yummy mummies, my name is Samia and I have a 10week little baby girl, I live in Edinburgh near fort kinnaird. I'm new to mumsnet so still trying to get into the swing of it :) I'd love to meet other mums in the area or even out as travelling is not a big deal.would love to get some tips and advice on how to improve my mummyskills over a cup of coffee and have sum grown up chat.

Hello Samia, welcome to Mumsnet and congratulations on your new baby. If you want to meet local mums the best thing to do is register on Mumsnet Local (look in the topics section) as it's pretty unlikely that anyone from Edinburgh will just happen to see this! This section is usually used for large-scale meet-ups where people will travel a fair distance, maybe once a year or so.
