Cumbria - May bank holiday weekend?

Does anyone fancy meeting up in Cumbria May bank holiday weekend? (Sat 29 April - Mon 1 May).

I'd love to roisin but dh is only around at weekends so I feel I must give him my full attention!

If it transpires he's on cover or something, I'll deffo be up for it.

I know! We are usually the same, but dh is in Brighton for the whole time!

By the way Cumbrians' there is a Lancashire meet-up in Lancaster on 11th May if any of you are interested & feel like crossing the border! There is a thread on it at the moment but I don't know how to do a link - sorry . Any way, you are very welcome!

Well we went to Muncaster Castle on our own and had a fantastic day: the bluebells and rhododendrons were stunning

Roisin - glad you had a fab day. I really want to get to Muncaster as it looks lovely. Deffo up for a meet up in the summer holidays if others would like to. We are away in May half term.

Roisin - jobs and houses! We need a cheapish house to rent near to Carlisle but not actually in the city - somewhere like Wetherall would be good. And we need a digger driving job!

You need Chatee or someone then; we don't get Carlisle jobs in our local rag = too far to commute. (It doesn't look far on the map, but there's some ruddy great mountains between us and them, and no decent roads!)
