Hi. I'm a new mother in North London (4 week old baby) and thought it was time to get out and meet some people. I've been praying for more Christian fellowship in my life, so thought I would see if there are any London Christian mums that might want to meet up at some point!

Hi, this is a cool idea. Unfortunately, I'm not very close to you. Live in Sunbury. Work in Brentford. How far north are you?

Is this your first baby?

MadameDeMars · 07/04/2006 11:36

Hi, where in N London are you?

welshmum · 07/04/2006 11:57

Hello ingham - whereabouts are you? Don't know if you'd like to meet me - I tend to wooliness Smile

Uwila · 07/04/2006 12:23

Hey Welshie!!! How the heck are you???

welshmum · 07/04/2006 12:25

I'm pretty good Uwila. Kids sleeping!!!! What tricks are your darlings performing? ds currently 'talking' away while trying to pull up and cruise around everything - very sweet, though demanding on the supervision front Grin

Uwila · 07/04/2006 12:32

My ds is the laziest boy around. He's just started properly crawling about a week ago. He sort of attempts to pull himself up with the Winnie the Poo tools bench, but it usually flips over on top of him and then he has to roll out from under it.

I can't believe they are almost one! Where has the time gone?

ingham · 07/04/2006 13:23

Hi everyone! Thanks for the swift response! Well, I'm in Hampstead area. Anyone nearby? By the way, yes, this is my first baby. What about all of you? And, does anyone know of anything fun to do with babies around here?

MadameDeMars · 07/04/2006 13:30

I'm at the base of Muswell Hill/Ally Pally not too far from you.

If hub2dee were about he would tell you that he is in Hampstead. Lovely bloke Smile

ingham · 07/04/2006 13:35

ingham · 07/04/2006 13:50

Ok I can barely make it out of the house with just ONE how do you manage with 5?!!

OP posts:
Uwila · 07/04/2006 14:02

5?! That'll teach you not to have sex.

MadameDeMars · 07/04/2006 15:58

I find vodka an evener!!!!!!!!!!!

The eldest is 13 and the oldest 3 go to school. The twins go to playgroup each afternoon.

I think I just got used to doing things and continuing to do them when another babe came.

And before you ask.... yes we do have a telly! Grin

Uwila · 07/04/2006 16:23

Oh that's good. Then they have something to do while you are Mumsnetting.

MadameDeMars · 07/04/2006 16:32

it's an essential part of my day darling Grin

Besides there is so much for them to watch lol!

flowertot · 08/04/2006 20:22

Plus of course madamedemars, I'm sure a week in the caribbean without children is a good help to keep you going through the tough times!

clarem444 · 31/07/2006 21:17
