DD and myself are thinking of going to the Whirlow Hall Farm Trust Open day in Sheffield on Thuesday 13th April. It's on between 11am and 3pm.

Apparantly they are nice days out. But entry is by ticket only, pre bookable in advance.

Costs £3 for children and £2 for adults.

Meet animals, face painting, tractor rides, egg hunt, learn to spin wool, sheep mask making, pig unit tours, raffle, farm shop, drinks and biscuits available

Anyone else interested?

Gingerbear · 12/04/2006 22:06

Shall I aim for 10.45?

hulababy · 13/04/2006 17:17

Have to say GB that we had a fab time today. Really sorry that Yg and her girls couldn't make it though.

Will look out for the next one - think July 29th's family picnic day might be a good one too. Could be really hot in that garden by then!

We are both shattered! Gave a lift to the 'face painter' down to Hunter's Bar roundabout, we were chatting, and I looked back - DD must have fallen asleep in about - ooh, all of 5 minutes!

Good place for a day out. I would recommend it.
PS forgot to mention - did you see the two 'Boden' mums with little darlings clad head to toe in hte stuff, in the craft shed? Grin

hulababy · 13/04/2006 20:01

LOL! Reckon they were mumsnetters?

I wonder if that mum we saw was jamiesam? Maybe should put a call out!
