Meeting mums in Leeds

Hello ladies

I am a 29 year old mummy to an almost 7 month old baby boy. I am looking to make friends with other mums and babies of a similar age. I don't have many friends and it would be nice to have girly chats and maybe go for a tea/coffee and let my little interact with other babies. If you are in the same boat and would like to meet up please let me know.

I look forward to hearing from you!!
Smile

I'm too old then!

Whereabouts are you in Leeds because there are quite a number of local groups - but no point in suggesting ones that are not local to you.

No one is too old lol. I am happy to meet anyone of any age but just want someone who has a baby in the same age group as my son. Sorry I guess I wasn't clear on that. I am in the LS7 area of Leeds.

might be worth a look - and there's an NCT sale on 7th October from memory - lots of bargains (particularly if you help on the day!) - my experience of an NCT group is that it was actually just a friendly meet up of mums with children - no one with an NCT agenda there.

Thank you very much for that. The link you sent is very useful Smile

The children's centre at Carr Manor Primary runs some nice groups, and everyone is really friendly. Headingley children's centre is very good too as is chapeltown and chapel allerton (ls7 is a huge area, so not sure which end you're at!). There's also a nice playgroup on Friday at Meanwood Community centre. There are others too, the parochial hall In meanwood, meanwood children's centre, jungle gym minis at scotthall swimming pool, (though I think that's from 12 months).

My DC are a bit old for groups now though, so worth checking with each centre what's on and when. Your health visitor should have some Info and there Is a babies notice board in Meanwood Health centre.

THere's a really nice Friday morning coffee morning in the Headingley area which roves around the area and drops in on the Headingley Childrens' centre once a month.
