Hi Everyone,

I would love to meet other mums and mums to be local to Bluewater for adult conversation and taking little ones to play groups etc.

I have a 21 month old dd and 3 months pregnant with no 2:)

Look forward to hearing from you all:o

Hi ftm!
I live in Dartford with my 21 month ds. Congrats on your pregnancy. Next week is a little busy for me but I will keep watching the thread to see what gets arranged!

Micku5 · 17/03/2006 08:37

Hiya

Congrats on your pregnancy ftm.

I'm not too far from Bluewater. I have a 2.5 yr old dd and am also pg with my second.

There are a few soft play areas in Dartford, Gravesend and Longfield so we could meet there so that the littles ones are kept busy.

funnytummymummy · 17/03/2006 11:04

Hi Daisy B & Micku 5,

Thanks for getting in touch, it would be nice to meet up. If next week, I can do any day but Thursday. When is your baby due, Micku 5, and how is your pregnancy going?

I work on Tuesdays and Thursdays so those days are out for me but am free the other days.

I am 16 weeks and had a scan on Wednesday because i was getting some really bad sharp pains which panicked me a bit. All is well though. Baby is due end of August.

When are you due? have you had your dating scan yet? Are you on the ante natal thread for sept?

funnytummymummy · 18/03/2006 08:44

Glad to hear your recent scan went ok. I'm due 9th September (although my dates have been moved 3 times so far), 15 weeks today. Had my dating scan couple of weeks ago but my first born was 3 weeks early, so who knows.

Not registered on sept ante natal thread but have looked at it a number times especially when had the morning sickness!

Would you be interested in meeting up next friday?

MickU5 - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Haven't seen you for a while and was thrilled to see this thread!

There's a meet up at Greenwich park on Tuesday 21st - see the South East London Mums March thread. Don't know if I can go as I might have to work but thought I'd let you know anyway.

All the best for your pregnancy.

KBear · 18/03/2006 08:52

Ah, just seen you work Tuesdays so no good for you. Another time maybe.

Micku5 · 19/03/2006 09:02

Thanks Kbear... I did see it but most of the meet ups have been on Tuesdays so haven't been able to go..... however if anyone is arranging an evening one (drinks/meal) for just the mums then I'd love to go.

FTM - Friday is fine with me.... where and what time suits you? Can't do 1-2pm but am free the other times.

funnytummymummy · 20/03/2006 10:50

Would you prefer to meet up next week instead Micku 5, if 1-2pm is a problem for Friday, otherwise what are the opening times for the soft play areas you mentioned before, as we could meet later in the day if they open then?

Daisy B- would you be interested in a meet up next week?

Hi Everyone,
I've got a 20 month old dd and live 10 mins from Bluewater. Would love to meet up somewhere but can't do this Friday. If you arrange something for next week would like to join you if I can. Can only do Tues/Wed though and I know Tues is no good. Glad everything's ok with the pregnancy Micku5, and if I can't make your meet up shall we arrange something else after Easter?

DaisyB · 20/03/2006 14:10

yes would love to meet up next week. Tues and Weds ams are not good as we go to groups but apart from that we are free!

Micku5 · 20/03/2006 15:01

We can meet up next wednesday pm if this week is no good.

The soft play area in called Bumpers Backyard at Fairfield Leisure Centre in Dartford. They are open from 1pm.

Noidea.. do you have the names of the other play groups? The only other place I know of is Cheeky Monkeys in New Ash Green.

Noidea · 21/03/2006 08:08

There's Whale of a Time in Greenhithe, open from 9.30 everyday except Monday. Also Tiddliwinks in Longfield on Monday mornings 10 - 11.30 and in Hartley on Friday mornings, I think from 10 - 11.
Also Monkey Bizz on the Medway City Estate in Rochester - a bit more distant but the best one around for toddlers, I think.

funnytummymummy · 21/03/2006 10:45

Next wednesday afternoon sounds good. 1pm at Fairfield Leisure Centre ok with everyone?

Ok for me!

DaisyB · 22/03/2006 07:03

Would love to but ds sleeps at 1-2 and without it is a nightmare! Mornings are better for us so maybe next time?

Noidea · 22/03/2006 08:04

Sorry, but just realised I have to go to parent consultations that afternoon and the same applies to my dd as DaisyB's ds - she needs an afternoon nap or she'll be a nightmare when we get there. See you next time.

DaisyB · 22/03/2006 11:03

Noidea - what is Tiddliwinks? Is it a play group or soft play area? We don't do anything on a Monday am and have been looking for somewhere.

Noidea · 22/03/2006 14:34

Tiddliwinks is run by 2 mums as a business. They have various bits of play equipment and toys set out and finish off the session with songs around a parachute. My dd has always quite enjoyed it but it seems a little pricey perhaps at £3.50 for one and a half hours. The Monday morning session is at Longfield Village Hall.

jenweber630 · 25/03/2006 23:14

Good for you Micku5!!!!! Congrats!! I've not seen you since the Christmas curry meet-up I think... Anyway, I'll keep watching the thread and meet up with you if it works out - the next few weeks are crazy and we're off to southern france the week of Easter. :) I hope you have fun at your meetup and hopefully we'll see you soon.

Micku5 · 27/03/2006 13:38

Are we still on for this Wednesday?

Thanks Jen. Hope you have a great time on holiday. I haven't been to any of the SE meetups because most of them are on Tuesday but as I mentioned earlier.. if there is a evening meet up (hint hint) I'd love to come along Smile

Micku5 · 29/03/2006 09:56

Bump

Micku5 · 29/03/2006 11:31

Are we still meeting today at Fairfield Leisure Centre?
