Are there any mums to be (6-8mths about now) interested in meeting up and setting up a little networking/support group?

Hi
I live in Lee Green and have a 12 week old daughter (and a 4.5 yr old) - are there any other mums with young babies in this area?

Blossie

there's a local NCt, also loads on in blackheath - st michaels's hall, blackheath park - has drop-in music monds/frid (10am start?) also playgp on thurs - great for meeting mums. arches gym in greenwich has swimming & tumble tots for later on. i'm no longer local by the way but had 1st babe here and got to know tons of nice people - they are out there!

I live in Greenwich, have a 2.10 year old dd and 7 months on with No.2. Will be interested to join, particularly after maternity leave starts in Sept.

Hello Mums! I am a pregnancy and post natal exercise specialist and I am moving into the area next month. I am looking to hold classes in Greenwich park for Mums with buggies. Will we do a little powerwalking and a whole body conditioning workout (nothing too hardcore!) and you will have the little one with you the whole time. I have been running successful classes in Highbury so hope they take off in Greenwich area too. They are good fun, a social event and you are getting fit. Also do personal training and Preganacy classes. Call me on 07875 467 931 or Email- [email protected]

there used to be a postnatal group at the arches leisure centre in greenwichon tues, 10ish? was drop-in, quite cheap, good way to meet people (often ended up in the nearby park for lunch) and run then by a midwife. sure they must still run something

thanks Misschief - I did email the local nct a couple of times but didnt get any reply - will try again!

MissChief · 31/07/2006 10:11

maybe call them?
might be good idea to walk up to st michael's church hall (blackheath park/pond road) - look at noticeboard just inside hallway for tons of info on local groups. HTH

Hello everyone, I live close to the Blackheath Standard and I'm 33 weeks pregnant, anyone else out there up for meeting up in the next few months?
I start my mat. leave in 5 weeks so I can come out from then on.
Hope to hear from you! I've seen some pregnant ladies in the Village and hope we all meet up!

By the way, the NCT activities sound excellent and also that exercise class at Greenwich Park, did it materialise?
