Hi all, my name is Harriet (29yrs) and my husband and I are moving from London to a cottage near Lechlade next month with our 15month old daughter - I would love to meet some other mummies in the area for coffee and playdates etc

I don't know if there are many locals on here, but you'll find the village is very friendly. There's a town website... Lechlade on Thames and that'll give you details of most things going on here.

You'll find that most people who live here have moved from outside (a lot of people from London), and so it is a very friendly place. I have older children, at the local school... but I found that if you get stuck in you'll soon meet people and build up a good circle of friends.

Do you know anything about the new teacher at letchlade primary school who was kicked out of Nailsworth primary school last term.
