Hi i've just moved up to lincoln and have a 2 1/2 month old son and was looking at some groups to go along to.
Anyone happen to know any for his age group within lincoln?

There are some toddler groups but it depends on where in the city you live and whether you have transport.

I live right in the city centre and transport could be a problem depending on how far they are. I'm just looking to meet people in the area

There's the sure start children's centre near the Lincoln city ground, not sure what they are offering at the moment because of the cuts.
There is a toddler group at the Methodist church at Bailgate which used to be quite good. The NCT toddler group at the Grandstand was quite well known but that is a bit out of town. The toy library is a nice place to play too, it's at the end of waterside south next to the Anglian water call centre but worth a visit at least once.
We still visit Playzone regularly which is next to the football stadium.

My youngest is almost 6 now so it's a while since I've been to these places.

Sure start sounds a good one I was looking into them before I moved. I will have to take these and have a go at a few see which ones best suit us. Are they just mums and tots or can both parents attend?

Not sure tbh, I think both parents can attend. It's 4 years since I was going to these groups.
