Like Pixie I'm a veggie, but apart from that generally I love food and wine so as long as there's one veggie option I'm happy!

Sorry I'm not much use here, I don't know any restaurants in Brighton except the ones I've been to with you! They were all nice :)

(And I've only been to two in Eastbourne in the two years we've been here, really must get out more!)

I had a quick look on Top Table for to see if there were any special offers, but the ones advertised all run out before the end of Feb.

I'm out I'm afraid, 25th is DS's birthday.

I'm happy with anything. Would prefer it wasn't the usual pub grub but don't really mind. Are we going for central Brighton?

yep, what about Chilli Pickle ? I know some of us went there before but i so love it , great for veggies too. but not up to me really.

I'd love to go the Chilli Pickle, I was sad to miss out it last time, especially after all the great reviews.

It shuts at 3 I think doesn't it? Did that work out OK last time? I remember I was hoping we'd all got to a nice pub after

Chilli Pickle was great last time.
They do close but didn't chuck us out at closing and we can head off to the pub at that point :)

It's generally no DC as it's nice to drink wine get a break and a chance to unwind :)

But people often bring little babies, which is lovely, and I brought my (then) 18mo when I was stuck for childcare before, the others were really nice, they made him very welcome and made it clear it was their own DCs they wanted a break from not necessarily other people's!

No worries - babysitter sorted, (DS at that age where the last place I want to take him is a restaurant unless it's got helium balloons
