Hello hello! Here I am with good intentions to behave and show up to some meet ups since I utterly failed in 2011!

So we need ideas for daytime meets and of course we must not forget our night time meets

Okay so ideas for January daytime, I think cake is definitely in order so I propose the one that's next to Ebony, the huge place, down some steps, uhh... Slug & Lettuce is it? CAKE!

January night time? Is this something we want to plan? I know we're always poor after Christmas!

Scream baby has reverted to happy baby. Phew!

I can't go! Trains don't run conveniently afterwards and the buses stop too early! I'd need to catch a train back at 8.45, or risk the last train of the night at 10.08 and risk being stranded if it doesn't turn up (again). This is not fair! I haven't been out at night for months!

Sorry when you've had to give numbers to book a table. Hadn't realised public transport would be such a hassle.

I was going to get the bus from Sunderland so I could have lovely cocktails but if I drove instead I could give you a lift. My only worry is the Miners Gala. Does anyone know if I'd be able to get in the Prince Bishops or do you think it would be full/the road closed?

Can we do a cake meet up w/c 31st July? Can do any day but Monday (expecting my new condenser tumble dryer to be delivered then, yes, yes I have caved in to the constant piles of wet washing all over the flipping house).
Next week is D's last week in preschool and the week after that we're off to the PILs caravan in Lytham St Anne's.
Actually I could do this coming Tuesday, if we could meet at 10 as I must be back before 1pm as D's preschool graduation is at 1.15

I'd like to suggest Slug & lettuce if we're meeting up this week and the Botanical Gardens for w/c 30th - then we can let the big kids run about!

BTW I have a gorgeous oufit for V, VikingLady, it is 6-9months, I thought I got rid of all the 6-9month but just spotted it tucked in the way in the wardrobe. It is navy and red - not remotely pink

Right, I have persuaded my SIL to come along (she came in December) as her night out tonight was cancelled or other reasons, so Sticky's place at least will not go to waste. Not sure we'll make it to Eboyn's depends on bedtimes. If not see you at Zizzi's at 8!

Well since it has been nice today dh is driving me and picking me up so I can have a drink because his dad is here to watch the dcs :) Watch it pour down now I've said that.

Ideas for a frock for a wedding welcome... where can I get a naice wedding frock without breaking the bank? and do I really need to get a hat? ugh. I used to enjoy shopping pre-kids. now it is another fecking chore.

I think Dorothy Perkins has some lovely dresses in at the moment! I got a one reduced from £42 to £25.

What sort of wedding is it? I've never worn a hat to a wedding, I think it only applies to very posh affairs these days.

I don't know on the dress front, I always struggle!

I have just seen a Tesco van do a delivery in my street, I have one booked for later tonight. I wish you could see on the website when there was going to be a vanin your area and give you the chance to have a cheaper eco friendly delivery.

Not that it helps you nor is at all relevant but Asda do offer "eco friendly" delivery

Noooooooooooooooo! my washing line snapped! Feeling so smug. Being woken at 5.15 by ds1 meant before school this morning washing that got rained on yesterday was out plus another load done and hung and a third load in the machine. School run then Arnison to take clothes to the cash for clothes place and go to Lidl. Home to find 3rd load finished. Take the prop down to take dry stuff off and hang it and the bloody line snaps! 1 load dry washing and one load wet on the floor. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Ds2 coughing again and seems to feel this means he has to remain latched onto somethng at all times. He has just got fed up of my nipple and is trying my arm .

Wish I was eating cake right now!

-sobs- I'm very angry with PB car park... I was in there for over 6 hours apparently!!!
